I had a lovely stay at Paivilla Boutique Hotel, enjoying the unique charm of the surroundings. The rooms were comfortable, especially the deluxe double room I was in, which featured a spacious balcony overlooking the garden. However, it did have some minor dings and scratches that could use a little attention. Overall, it was a cozy atmosphere that truly differs from chain hotels. 🌿🛌

My room was nicely decorated and big enough for all of us. The terrace was a highlight, and it had a lovely view of the garden. It felt clean and had a BIG working Smart-TV, which was great for relaxation.

The service was attentive, with good breakfast options, including freshly baked bread. I felt well taken care of throughout my stay.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, just a 9-minute train ride from the city center. It was easy to get to the Tallinn railway station, which is close to the old town.

I had a mixed experience at Paivilla Boutique Hotel. The location was really convenient, allowing me to park close and enjoy a quiet area that's just nine minutes by train from the city center. However, the overall cleanliness of my room was disappointing, and I faced issues with the bathroom and staff availability. Despite these drawbacks, the breakfast impressed me with fresh options and tasty homemade bread.

Rooms

My room, a Double Room with a terrace, had a cozy feel, but it was extremely dirty and not well maintained. The shower situation was also unusual, and the lack of privacy due to see-through doors was concerning.
Service
5.0
I didn’t really have the chance to interact with the staff, which was frustrating, especially when I needed assistance with payment. I saw only one staff member during my stay, who seemed overwhelmed with all the tasks.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, a short train ride from the bustling city center, making it a nice escape while still being close enough to explore Tallinn.

Breakfast was a highlight for me, with freshly baked bread and options that catered to my dietary restrictions. I appreciated having the choice of eggs and even bacon (though it ran out early!), along with free tea and coffee.

The hotel offers some nice touches, like a welcome drink and assistance with tickets for local attractions, which I found helpful during my stay.

My stay at Paivilla Boutique Hotel had its ups and downs. The breakfast impressed me with fresh options, but the overall cleanliness of my room left much to be desired. While the location was quiet and convenient, I felt there were gaps in service that affected my experience.

I stayed in a Double Room with Terrace, which was cozy but unfortunately quite dirty. There was thick dust on surfaces and some stains that suggested it hadn't been cleaned in ages. I appreciated the cute layout and the chance for a bath, but the lack of general upkeep was disappointing.
Service
5.0
I never encountered anyone at the front desk during my stay. It would have been nice to get some guidance on the area since there were language barriers that made communication a bit challenging. Also, I felt there was only one staff member doing multiple jobs, which might have contributed to the lack of proper service.
Location
8.0
The hotel is nestled in a tranquil neighborhood, just a short train ride from the city center. I found it easy to access public transportation, which was a definite plus for exploring Tallinn.
Dining

Breakfast was a highlight for me. Even with my dietary restrictions, I enjoyed fried eggs, salad, and cucumbers. But I noticed some items like bacon were gone early, which was a bit of a letdown.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel boasted nice facilities, including a welcoming ambiance with a charming garden. While I appreciated the large Smart-TV and the accommodation options, the overall cleanliness overshadowed these positives.

I had a mixed experience at Paivilla Boutique Hotel. On the one hand, the location was excellent, being in a quiet area and close to the airport. However, the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired; there was a noticeable smell and the bed linens seemed unwashed. While the breakfast included some fresh-baked bread, the overall selection was limited and food was cold.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a charming old-fashioned style, but it was marred by foul odors and poor cleanliness. The bed linens were questionable and the bathroom, despite being beautifully designed, didn't compensate for the cold room.
Service
5.0
While the staff seemed polite, the lack of attention to cleanliness in the room raised concerns about overall service quality.

The breakfast had some positives like freshly baked bread, but it was mostly cold and had limited options, which was disappointing.

The hotel has nice facilities, although it lacked warmth during my stay. A welcome drink or further amenities could enhance guest experience.

I had a mixed experience at Paivilla Boutique Hotel. The common room was a highlight, offering a cozy atmosphere with a view of the garden and even a piano for guests to enjoy. However, the room itself had several issues including cleanliness and privacy concerns that really dampened my stay.

Rooms
5.0
The room was somewhat cozy but had a strong sewer smell and lacked privacy due to see-through glass doors and windows. Also, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired, with dust and stains everywhere.
Service

Check-in felt impersonal, and I didn't get a welcoming vibe from the sole staff member I met during breakfast. She seemed overwhelmed and not particularly eager to assist guests.

The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, which is nice for a peaceful stay. It's convenient to get to the city center, just a short train ride away.

Breakfast options were impressive, featuring some Ukrainian specialties and fresh bread. I appreciated having gluten-free choices, but it could be hit or miss regarding freshness.
Facilities

The common leaving room was beautiful, with a garden view and amenities like a pool table, creating a relaxing atmosphere. However, the overall maintenance of facilities was lacking.
